Odometer Digital Watch Face

Odometer shows the time the way an old car counts its miles: on number drums behind small windows. Four big drums show the hours and minutes, a round window beside them counts the seconds, and the weekday, day and month sit across the top on angled plates. Below the time, a round gauge shows the battery with a real needle and the exact percentage under it.

The riveted steel housing and the drums are drawn, not machined: the dial is a detailed picture of an industrial instrument, shown on your watch's screen.

WHAT IS ON THE DIAL

- Hours and minutes on four odometer-style number drums, 24-hour or 12-hour

- Weekday, day and month, in your watch's language
- A battery gauge with a needle from 0 to 100 and the percentage
- Three complications and one app shortcut slot

THREE COMPLICATIONS AND AN APP SHORTCUT

Press and hold the dial and tap Customize. Out of the box the left complication shows your step count and the upper right shows your heart rate. The lower right starts empty, so you choose what goes there: sunrise and sunset, your next event, weather, and so on.

Each complication shows short text with the provider's icon above it. A ranged source shows its text too, not a progress arc. Any of the three can be left empty.

The small round area at lower left is an app shortcut slot. It starts empty and draws nothing; give it an app and one tap opens it from the dial. It shows the app's icon only.

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Accent: Ember red or Amber, for the needle, the seconds and the date
- Hour format: 24-hour or 12-hour; in 12-hour mode a small AM or PM appears under the date

ALWAYS-ON

The always-on screen drops the drums, the gauge and every complication. Only the time and the date stay lit, in soft cream on black, so very little of the screen is switched on.

GOOD TO KNOW

Time, date, seconds and battery work the moment you install it, with no extra app and no data source to set up. The face itself asks for no permissions; a sunrise or weather complication shows what your watch already knows about where you are. The Customize labels are in English in every language. There is no companion phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

SETTING IT UP

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Odometer and tap Customize.
