Briefing is a useful app that gives us news and important information in one place. It helps us know about current events, weather, sports, and other topics. It saves time because we can read different updates easily. Briefing keeps us informed and helps us learn new things. We can check it when we have free time. It is simple and easy to use. However, we should always check if the information is true and reliable before believing or sharing it.

I like it, and yet... it's frustrating. Copying of articles is very hit-&-miss. I understand each article is from a wide range of different journals or media sources & each may impose their own policy on this. But I'm not interested in read-once-&-forget it... I save some useful material to folders as background research to which I want to refer later. Can't do that if I can't save the material in some kind of format. This isn't an unreasonable request. I'm not trying to re-publish it, I just want to be able to access it easily later: to use it as worthwhile info. If that isn't allowed I won't waste my time reading it in the first place.

This app feels like bloatware that no matter how many times I remove it, it comes back. If I ever click on the push notifications (THAT I DO NOT WANT BTW) It never takes me to the article that was displayed in their notification banner, and then is impossible to find in their feed. Overall, flipbook actually makes my experience on a Samsung in general much worse because it will not go away.

Because Briefing is considered a system app, any system updates will update the app as well. You will need to disable it once more. Just open your device Settings, locate Briefing, then choose the disable option. For help, click the Contact button at flip.it/help.
What’s new
Briefing is now more customizable. In addition to the content you could choose from before, you can now also choose from the entire range of topics of Flipboard!
