Literally a gotcha game with metal slug skin on it. Repetitive, boring, and everything felt shoehorned into it. Visual sure is nice to look and very nostalgia to feel, but other than that, I don't invest my time just to upgrade a virtual weapons to fight arbitrary enemy health sponge. Plus it's always online only, so it's not even worth it when the server gone offline.

At the beginning is really fun to play, but as the level goes up the game become more difficult especially the joint operation,you cant get a nice random team unless you have a nice legendary weapon to boost the power. Plus the pickaxe is hard to obtain and the legendary weapon requires at least 70-80 draws to get it. The p2w stuff is too burden for a player who wants to have fun on this game.

For those out there wondering. This is just like a demo version of original metal slug layered by the skins of snk characters. Underneath it a regular topup based game. The true mission were so short. They just apply more hp and atk to next mission repetitively. You will always play a static mission where you just given a space and eliminate waves of enemies. The four original characters are not even relatable to this game and forced to play non metal slug character/weapon of higher tier. Bad.
