Having to pay after paying for the game? I don't think I can afford that. This game is significantly harder than the other KRs, which makes it fun and challenging. It seems there aren't as many levels as the other ones in the series, there are still only three heroes available for free despite being more expensive than the other KR games. A lot of Easter eggs to interact with, what's stopping it from being great is the pay wall. I wouldn't say this is the best KR game in its series.

After scraping through the campaign and a long absence from playing this game, I thought I'd have another go. But after reading through the reviews and complaints about how much of the cooler stuff is still locked behind a paywall (for a paid app), I had lost interest again. It IS possible to complete the game without in-app purchases, just like it is possible to extract a tooth using pliers without anaesthesia. I'm only giving an additional star because I WAS a fan of the series.

Hi! the game can certainly be completed without any purchase, any purchase is absolutely optional. You can find lots of videos on youtube with players finishing each level on every difficulty without the use of any extras.

It's a good game and a perfect sequel to the first three games. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the overly-priced microtransactions in the game. Still really fun though. EDIT: It's not about whether you're able to beat the game without paid content or not, it's about being able to use the content freely. It's already a paid game, yet I still have to pay for the TOWERS in a freaking TOWER DEFENCE GAME! If I am not able to access all the contents, then the game is straight up boring.
