Rappi has been very useful when traveling in South America. It supports English language in the UI, which is a huge plus. It has a good network of drivers. The big issue is that I've never received an order in the time initially promised when placing the order. And the app has no explanation for why this happens repeatedly. Even when I paid extra for prioritized fast delivery, which I've done many times, it always comes late! Another issue - the app has too many distracting promos & ads!

It's nice to order food from rappi, but it happens way too often to get the wrong product delivered, or in bad conditions that makes it not consumable. Yet, even after reporting it, the app only says that they are sorry and that they cannot refund it. So it's basically lost money and I don't get the point on ordering something off rappy if I can't even know if I get the right product in good conditions or not, and it is impossible to refund. There’s only ai moderation and actual agents are rude.

Rappi isn't transmitting my orders to the partner restaurants. As a result, drivers go to pick up my order, the restaurant doesn't see my order, and no one is able to cancel it. this has happened twice now. Plus, the "chat with the restaurant" feature doesn't work, so I have to rely on the courier to pass messages between the restaurant and me. In the time I've spent waiting on my order from Rappi, I was able to order and receive the same order from the same restaurant via iFood.
