Pay 2 win garbage. The farming aspect of the game is incredibly weak. This is another one of those base building games where you build up to fight others. There is nothing wrong with that. The problem lies in powerful advantages being paywalled. Upgrading twice as much, more powerful creatures, more resources. Free players stand no chance.

EDIT : TERRIBLE UPDATES RENDER PREVIOUS PURCHASES USELESS. DO NOT SPEND UNTIL FIXED. Fun game, but weirdly restrictive in some ways. The worst is the 24-hour cooldown on being able to reset your own palmon. There's no way to hire a third construction queue like you can for the second queue, you must buy it. They also tout this as a monster breeding game, but restrict how often you can do that by requiring a special currency to use the nursery.

The 5 sequential pop-ups that greet me every time I launch the game erode my will to come back to it. The game itself sports interesting monster designs and side activities, with simple combat. It is however Pay2Win experience, where mons and feat are gatekept by real world time, unless bought (each) - but it is not a P2Play one, and relies strongly on cooperation between players to have a good time. You can be above 95% other players as long as You're on time & active. Slightly visually buggy
