About this game

Forgotten lands and ancient magic give rise to a dangerous journey against the oppressive rule of witches.

“Legendary Tales V. Price of Power” is an adventure game in the Hidden Objects genre, with plenty of mini-games and puzzles, unforgettable characters, and complicated quests.

In a world ruled by witches, survival is hard and hope is rare. Whispers of forgotten myths and powers suggest that change may still be possible. From hidden catacombs to long-abandoned cities, this journey unfolds across ruins of lost civilizations and through encounters with dangerous foes. Along the way, unlikely allies appear, old secrets resurface, and the fragile dream of freedom grows stronger. The journey is filled with uncertainty, but each discovery hints that the world’s fate may yet be rewritten. Thus, a story of magic, struggle, the search for safety, and the creation of a new future takes shape.

- Gather old friends to overcome hardships together
- Travel through incredible places no one ever believed existed
- Solve puzzles and play mini-games to put your wits to the test
- Examine locations carefully and find every collectible
- Join the battle for freedom alongside your favorite characters

Great ongoing story with great puzzles. My one criticism is that the instructions for the puzzles often leave out important information so you're stumbling around in the dark trying to figure out things like how the game pieces move. I played the original Zork series, so this sort of inventory-based story/puzzle game is totally jam. So happy to have found this series!

I encountered a bug on the puzzle in chapter two, when you have to rotate a maze to guide the ball through it. I believe both parts of the maze are supposed to be navigable in 10 moves, but the first part is navigable in 8 and the second seems to take 12, and you can only queue 10 moves max. If you fail, it takes you back to the first part of the maze - very frustrating! (Also, please go back to the previous animation style for cutscenes. The ai style is noticeable and uncanny.)

As with all their games, the graphics are incredible (and they're still incredible even if the artists use some AI help now, I don't get the hate for it), and the puzzles are fun and challenging, for the most part. In this one, the story is better, with more complex lore and world building, than other series. But I had to hold a star because the nonsensical randomness of where things are hidden is worse than in any other five bn game I've played! Still really fun.
