Visuals is the best thing about this game. Best way to describe its gameplay card game wise is, imagine if everyone's deck is just exodia and each player is just trying to draw into their own exodia each game. Literally every deck is otk from hand asap barely any point of interacting and if it doesn't do that, its not a playable deck, even the "fun" decks. Hope their next game is not a rinse and repeat of the same mistake.

It's a genuinely fun and simple game... when it works that is. The character archetype system is fun and unique, though a bit limiting. And when you start off (at least on pc, not sure about mobile) you get tons of free card packs to make fun and viable PvE decks. Though in PvP, I'm not sure if matchmaking is bad or what, but you don't seem to have a chance without dropping some cash. But all of this only matters if the game actually works for you, which it hasn't for me in weeks on pc and never did on mobile. TLDR: Its good, simple, fun, and you get lots of free stuff, but you'll need to pay to be good in pvp, and the game doesn't consistently work, especially not on mobile.

This is the first one of these where I feel I can actually have fun without spending huge amounts of cash. The mechanics take advantage of the digital format. They are fairly generous with the card packs and bonuses. And there is almost constantly some event that adds variety. There are score rewards, missions, and single player stories to help. The liquify mechanic helps you feel like duplicate cards aren't wasted. It's like they actually want people to play the game! I Love it.
