Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.
On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

While I suck at playing (massive skill issue on my part), it's a really fun game. It's quite friendly to F2P players and the fact you don't have to gacha for weapons is really nice. My favourite thing is how the story has actual stakes and the characters aren't 1 dimensional husbando/waifu bait. Visuals are gorgeous, voice acting is superb, and the UI is really unique.

I'll have to edit my review from last year. Same thing, good visuals, voice overs and all but the game modes are getting into that powercreep path. I can't clear it anymore using my units and I am forced to pull for new ones just to do the raids and other game modes even though I dont want to, otherwise I'll miss out on the huge chunk of the content for the patch. I left HSR for this reason and its devastating r99 is going this path.

I've been playing since released and I have to say that the quality and work that were put into this is really showing. I love the different language and culture that is portrayed in the game. The variety of characters design is one of my favourite thing ever. Not to mention the generous amount of rewards. I love the fact that it is fully voiced. The voice acting in my opinion never missed. So far I have enjoyed the game thoroughly from the event to the main story.
