Hands down one of the best readers I've used over the years. It's a no brainer if you like to read across multiple devices; I use it to sync my progress between my phone, tablet, and e-ink reader. Started using it for novels and then it became my reader of choice for academic and reference books too, it's just too comfortable. I'm not interested in any of the optional AI features so I purchased some lifetime storage to support the project instead.

By far the best, most polished eBook experience I've ever had the pleasure of using. Didn't think I'd ever step away from Lithium but here I am with my cloud storage synced, custom themed with my own imported font Readest setup. Just how I envisioned it. Apple Books, my original favourite but not attainable on Android, has been beat. PERFECTION. One update request though: Add the search through the text magnifying glass icon on the book tap view quick settings. Right now it's two clicks.

I've used a LOT of reading applications over the years and am pretty annoyingly picky about them. I want them to be both frictionless to open and start reading, while also being feature rich and cross platform. This is my all time favorite reading app by a wide margin. KOreader sync support, mobile apps across platforms (and the web!) to sync your library and reading location, OPDS support, audiobookshelf support, the ability to sync notes and highlights to notion... Incredible stuff.
