Babylonian Twins is a hand-crafted 2D puzzle platformer set in ancient Mesopotamia. Guide the twin princes of Babylon, Nasir and Blasir, on a quest to free their kingdom from an evil sorcerer. Freeze one twin into a stone statue — use him as a stepping stone, or as a weight on an ancient mechanism — while the other dashes, drills and battles through five hand-crafted worlds. This is a platformer where thinking beats reflexes: the jump you cannot make is usually a puzzle you have not solved yet.

Created in Baghdad in 1993 for the Commodore Amiga, Babylonian Twins was the first commercial-quality video game made in Iraq. It was lost to history for seventeen years, until an acclaimed rebirth in 2010 brought it back.
